Randall is a Chartered Accountant and former corporate finance partner at PwC with over 35 years’ experience advising business owners on company sales, succession planning and strategic transactions. Having bought, built and sold businesses of his own, Randall understands the commercial and emotional realities of exiting a company. He leads on complex projects, including Employee Ownership Trusts, and is known for his calm, straight-talking advice. Proudly Welsh, Randall splits his time between the UK and Mallorca and enjoys tennis, golf and walking his dog, Mali. 

Robyn Davies – HR & People Strategy Consultant FCIPD, MBA 

Robyn is a senior HR and organisational design specialist with over 30 years’ experience. He has worked across public and private sectors, led his own consultancy, and held senior NHS innovation and management roles. Robyn brings deep insight into leadership transitions, restructuring and succession planning. A Visiting Professor and Honorary Fellow at Cardiff University, he combines academic depth with practical commercial experience. 

Michelle Perkins – Finance & Operations Consultant 

Michelle has nearly 30 years’ experience in accounting and finance, with expertise in financial reporting, audit, systems and operations. She supports Hafren’s clients by turning financial information into clear, actionable insight. Michelle is known for her attention to detail, calm approach, and ability to thrive under pressure. Outside work, she enjoys baking, reading, rugby, and travel. 

Darren Talbot – Strategic Finance Consultant ACA 

Darren is a commercially minded accountant with over 25 years’ post-qualified experience across the charity, service, retail and financial sectors. He specialises in working with SMEs on corporate finance, risk, recovery and growth strategies. Darren is known for his clarity, leadership and hands-on approach. He is also a committed community coach and secretary at Brackla FC. 

Leighton Reed – Tax & Structuring Consultant CTA, ACA 

Leighton is a Chartered Tax Adviser and Chartered Accountant with nearly 20 years’ experience as a tax partner. He advises on corporate and personal tax, succession planning, share incentives, and business transactions. Leighton has worked with both blue-chip firms and complex family-owned groups and is known for making tax understandable, commercial and client-focused. 

Andrew Bound – Legal & Compliance Consultant, Solicitor (LLB Hons) 

Andrew is a qualified solicitor with over 35 years’ experience in corporate law. He is Joint Managing Director of Berry Smith LLP, where he leads the firm’s transaction and business services group. He advises on legal structuring, governance and succession planning, and brings a strong compliance focus to complex deals. Andrew also serves as Chairman of Brightwells Limited. 

Harry Robinson – Wealth Planning Consultant 

Harry is an experienced Wealth Manager based in Cardiff, specialising in helping business owners, entrepreneurs and high-net-worth individuals navigate life after exit. With deep technical knowledge of tax-efficient structuring, investment planning, pensions and protection, he plays a key role in aligning financial strategy with clients’ long-term goals. Harry is known for his clear advice, personal service and proactive, joined-up approach. 

James Perry – Business Analyst

James is a sustainability analyst and innovation specialist with a strong track record in low-carbon strategy, emissions reporting, and digital project delivery. With a background spanning renewable energy, logistics, and interactive technology, he brings a practical, data-led approach to Scope 1, 2 and 3 reporting, operational optimisation, and carbon reduction.
